From Skeptic to Believer — My Journey with BodyTalk

When I first stepped into the world of BodyTalk, I wasn’t entirely convinced. As a nurse with years of clinical experience, I was trained to rely on research, structure, and measurable results. This—asking the body questions, tapping to restore balance—felt... unconventional.

And yet, it changed my life. And the lives of those around me.

The Healing That Keeps Me Going

The most rewarding part of my BodyTalk journey is, without a doubt, the healing I see every single day. But it’s not just about easing pain or improving symptoms—it’s about watching families grow stronger, marriages mend, and generational patterns of stress and illness finally begin to unravel.

I love helping people heal, but my passion for family healing runs deepest. As a mom, I’ve seen firsthand how BodyTalk strengthens the connections between parents, children, and even across generations. Science now confirms that the experiences and stories of our ancestors—what we carry epigenetically—impact our health and well-being. BodyTalk is one of the few places where those hidden influences can be uncovered and healed.

Overcoming Skepticism

Of course, the journey hasn’t been without challenges. The hardest? Skepticism—especially from those closest to me.

I’ve watched friends, family, and even colleagues dismiss BodyTalk, only to struggle with chronic issues that simple sessions could have helped. It’s frustrating. It’s painful.

But I always come back to one question:  What if?

I remind myself of my favorite childhood book, “I DARE YOU.” I dare myself to keep going, to chase the impossible, to transform healthcare one case, one person, one quiet tap at a time.

How I Knew BodyTalk Was My Calling

It was the results that convinced me to stay—and to commit fully.

In my early days, I practiced with fellow nurses and hospital staff at night. To my astonishment:   ✔ Years of back pain disappeared.  ✔ Vision improved.  ✔ A colleague at risk of preterm labor carried her baby to term (and became a practitioner herself).  ✔ Couples struggling with infertility started their families.  ✔ Long-term pain faded.  ✔ Marriages healed.

My colleagues were the ones who dared me to keep going—to learn more, train more, serve more. And once I saw the difference this work made for patients in clinical care—reduced pain, faster healing, even more peaceful transitions at the end of life—I never looked back.

BodyTalk changed my life. And if you’re willing to ask “what if?” — it just might change yours too. Want to Learn More?
